Senior Center Assistant
Our goal is to enhance the dignity and independence of older adults, helping them stay active and remain vibrant members in their own communities. We encourage you to join our team! We are seeking a positive and compassionate Senior Center Assistant to assist at the Shenandoah County Senior Center in Woodstock.
You will assist the center manager in planning, setting up, and running daily activities and events.
- Must be able to assist with transporting clients in agency van to and from center and events.
- Proficient computer skills with strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with older adults is required.
- Experience driving a school bus or large passenger van preferred.
Part-time position, Tuesday through Friday, 8:00AM-2:30PM. $13-15.00/hour depending on qualifications. Benefits package includes dental & vision insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
