Welcome Juli Ferrell

Seniors First, the Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging, is thrilled to announce a new addition to our team: Juli Ferrell has officially joined us as our new Executive Director.

With a deep commitment to our region and nearly two decades of nonprofit leadership, development, and community engagement experience, Juli steps into this role ready to champion our mission. She is dedicated to ensuring that older adults across our community can continue to live with the dignity, respect, and independence they deserve.

Juli joins us after most recently serving as Chief Development Officer at Timber Ridge School, where she successfully spearheaded fundraising and resource development strategies. Her impressive background also includes serving as the Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Virginia and holding a development leadership role with the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association.

“I am honored to join Seniors First,” Juli shared as she stepped into her new role. “Every day, our neighbors are choosing to age in the communities they love. I want to make sure Seniors First is able to keep showing up for them, with the same heart and the same reliability our communities have come to count on.”

Our work at Seniors First spans across Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren Counties, as well as the City of Winchester. From delivering warm meals and providing crucial transportation to managing senior centers and supporting caregivers, our programs are the lifeline that keeps our seniors independent and engaged.
