Seniors First currently operates one group Respite Center in Page County to provide caregivers a break in their daily routine. The center is open to individuals with symptoms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, etc.

How do I know if my loved one is eligible?

A Care Manager from Seniors First will conduct an initial assessment to determine eligibility for Helping Hands services.

What is the charge for Helping Hands?

There is no fee, but donations are always welcome.

What are the benefits to caregivers?

Caregivers are provided respite care, information and assistance, support group meetings, and resources.

What types of activities are provided?

For participants, stimulating activities are provided for both men and women; individual care plans are prepared; participants enjoy the company of other adults; crafts, music, exercise, and many more activities are planned daily. A hot noon meal is served and snacks are provided.
